The gardens feature: planted flower beds, wildflower areas, orchard borders, raised beds, an activity lawn, a biodiversity garden, a Wellbeing Trail and secluded seating areas in which to sit and contemplate, surrounded by aromatic plants. Native species and ornamental trees and colourful shrubs have been planted throughout and the various areas are linked by paths with wooden arch and pergola and willow tunnel gateways inviting visitors to explore at leisure. The aspiration of the volunteer gardeners is to create interesting, often quirky, art installations using natural garden materials. To date these include the blue painted tree, the cuckoo clock, the alcove of contemplation, four seasons gargoyles with much more planned.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
