From 10am, fans will be able to meet the real-life Jack and Victor as the comedy duo sign bottles in celebration of The Whisky Shop stocking both their blend and Still Gin across all Scottish stores and online.
After a sell-out launch of Jack and Victor Blended Scotch Whisky in May 2021, demand saw the pair follow up with the announcement of Still Gin earlier this year. Limited numbers of both products will be available to buy at the event so fans are urged to get there early - ‘when we’re oot, we’re oot!’
Ford Kiernan, who plays Jack Jarvis in Still Game, said: “Jack and Victor love a wee sip while they’re sharing a story, and they’d be over the moon to know just how delightful a tipple Scots have found their drinks. Whether it’s for a dram with family or a G and T with friends, the Craiglang gentlemen have you covered.”
Greg Hemphill, who plays Victor McDade, said: “I know Victor would love a bottle signed by his old pal Jack and I’m sure it would sit pride of place in his living room – until he finished it, that is!”
Donald Darroch, Store Manager at The Whisky Shop, Glasgow, said: “We’re just a short bus ride from Craiglang if you want to get your own bottle of Jack and Victor’s tipple - just don’t tell Bobby where you got it from!”
Jack and Victor Blended Scotch Whisky (40% ABV, £42, The Whisky Shop) has been blended to suit whisky newcomers and connoisseurs alike, with tastes of honeyed orchard fruits and sweet malted barley. The whisky also has a delicate peat smokiness and notes of fresh vanilla and oak spice.
Still Gin (37.5% ABV, £42, The Whisky Shop) was born from an abundance of requests from fans for something ‘filtered through the heather’. Notes of cherry blossom, juniper berries, pink grapefruit and orange are complemented with heather flowers to create a liquid for all gin lovers.
Please note: limited numbers of Jack and Victor Blended Scotch Whisky and Still Gin will be available to buy at the event and purchases are strictly for over 18s only.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
