Now in its sixth year, the Art Car Boot Sale - one of Scotland’s biggest contemporary art events - is coming to Tramway for a bumper edition of artists and galleries brought together under one roof.
The exciting showcase of contemporary art, presented by Patricia Fleming Gallery, will bring one hundred local and internationally renowned artists from across Scotland and beyond into our vast T2 gallery for the first time.
Curated by a team of industry professionals, the Art Car Boot Sale is an invitation into Glasgow’s internationally recognised contemporary art sector, and gives visitors a unique opportunity to meet artists in person as they sell their artwork direct to them from the boots of cars, vans, bikes - and the odd skateboard.
With prices ranging from £5 to £5000, art will be on offer from award winning artists, and Turner Prize nominees, alongside emerging artists.
Some of the first artists confirmed for 2024 include: Michael Clarence, Ruth Ewan, Sally Hackett, Ilana Halperin, Chris Leslie, Tessa Lynch, Katie Orton, Toby Paterson, Matthew Arthur Williams, and Kate V Robertson; with a full list to follow soon.
To complement the day, visitors can enjoy a delicious selection of food and drinks. Everybody is welcome, and children and young people under 16 are free entry.
Patricia Fleming Gallery partners with Art Money to support interest free purchases over 10 months, available for items £1000 and over.
