Calum Bowie is a popular Edinburgh based singer-songwriter from Banchory in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
Since his debut release in 2018, Calum’s presence among the Scottish music scene has grown exponentially, with his captivating melodies and authentic lyrics fuelling his uplifting music. Taking influence from the likes of Sam Fender, Alfie Templeman, and Maisie Peters, Calum ‘has been redefining the Scottish music scene for some time now’ as complimented by Spotlight UK.
Calum is renowned for his charismatic on-stage presence. He has played a number of sold-out Scottish headline shows and his English and Irish debuts are set to sell out this summer. The energy that Calum brings to a room is unmatched. His crowds sing every one of his songs, word for word.
Calum has an ever-growing social media presence, with over 300K+ new followers on TikTok, since creating his account last year. His videos are absolutely everywhere, with over 40M+ views and 6M+ likes, which has helped to increase his streams across multiple platforms.
He has had a host of radio plays from Amazing Radio, Original 106FM, BBC Introducing Scotland, where he “stole everyone’s hearts”, and has also been championed by Janice Forsyth on BBC Radio Scotland’s Afternoon Show. Calum is building a consistent and loyal fan base, with over 120,000 streams in the last 28 days on Spotify alone. He is well on his way to becoming a household name and is certainly not one to miss in 2022.
