Psychic medium Judy – the internationally renowned clairvoyant and clairaudient ¬– will be in Glasgow’s west end for one-night only to host this rare and remarkable evening, starting with a guided meditation followed by personal tarot card readings. Adding to the night’s intimate atmosphere, complimentary nibbles and a glass of Prosecco, bottled beer or Aperol Spritz will be served by Embargo’s sleek team of mixologists at candle-lit tables.
Based in Calgary, Canada and Glasgow, Judy’s incredible other-worldly sixth sense is revered globally. An expert in mediumship, NLP, Reiki, crystal healing, EFT Tapping, counselling, and tarot and palm readings, she’s also a licensed hypnotherapist. Her specialisms are far reaching, servicing high performance athletes and as well as those who have experienced trauma, loss or brain injury.
It was when Judy was just a young girl that her first brush with the psychic realm emerged. Her childhood was peripatetic. Growing up in various parts of the UK and bearing family distress led her to her greatest escape. Going to bed at night was where she could let things go. A safe place, here she would embark on metaphysical voyages to different countries, contexts and universes.
Finding immense freedom and euphoria in this form of flight – or as she articulates it: “astral projection” or “out-of-body travel” – Judy began tuning into a higher vibration, at times discovering she could hear, see and even smell things before they happened. This continued throughout her childhood.
Judy's mother shared with her stories about her grandmother who had been a well-known psychic in Sunderland. Judy loved hearing about her and knew that she was connected through spirit to her great grandmother, which throughout her life has come to realise how strong this connection is.
Later, in Junior High, Judy’s Physics teachers on picking up on her and a classmate’s mediumship abilities ended up closing down a lab one afternoon simply so they could test their skill-sets. “I knew I was being divinely guided to do what I’m doing now," says Judy.
She also credits her uncle as one of her inspirations for continuing on a spiritual path. Her uncle was a psychic card reader who used playing cards to garner insightful messages for people. “One day my uncle asked me what I saw in the cards. I was hooked from that moment on."
Judy said: “I’m thrilled to be hosting this event next month and look forward to sharing my insights at what will be a fun and entertaining evening.”
Callum Young Operations Manager at Embargo said: “We’ve been trying to book Judy for a while as we know how popular she is with personal readings so we’re chuffed to be able to bring people together for drinks and nibbles and readings and have no doubt it will be a sell out!”
