At the end of this course, you will go home with at least 4 handmade books. These styles will allow you to make zines, junk journals, photo albums, sketchbooks, bind your writing, make handmade gifts and anything else you can think of!
You do not need to have ever tried book binding to attend this course, as we will be starting from the simplest style and learning together at a comfortable pace along the way.
Dates and Times:
Split over a 4 weeks, Bind Together! will teach handmade book binding in 4 different styles.
22nd September 6-8PM: Super simple no-sew binding techniques
29th September 6-8PM: Saddle stitch and 4-hole stab binding
6th October 6-8PM: More complex Japanese binds, including Noble and Tortoise Shell
13th October 6-8PM: Spiral binding with cereal box covers
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
