About Needle Felting Workshop: Painting With Wool

Needle felting is the craft of transforming wool into a solid fabric using a barbed needle to bring the fibres together.

Sharon will take you through the basics of needle felting and you’ll learn how to layer, shape and blend fibre. You can also embellish your painting afterwards with stitch and embroidered details.

Even if you don’t think you’re in the least bit creative this technique for dry felting is totally absorbing, highly therapeutic after a hard day and the perfect way to while away a couple of hours.

This workshop it’s suitable for anyone who’d like to try some tactile textile art.

Materials: We’ll provide all the materials so all you need to bring is yourself.
