About Glasgow Running Tours
A running tour is just what it sounds like - a guided sightseeing tour that takes place on the run! It’s a unique way to combine fitness and tourism, or to explore your own city.
This is a guided run exploring Glasgow’s sights and hidden history. During the run we’ll take in the major landmarks but also some ‘off-the-beaten-track’ sights and local knowledge that you won’t find in a tour book: the buildings and statues, the amazing street art, and the untold stories about Glasgow’s past and present.
We’ll run at a pace that suits you and make sure there’ll be stops along the way to tell stories, ask questions and, of course, for photo ops!
Each run starts and finishes on George Square, is approx 8km and lasts 90 mins. As a rough guide, if you can run 5k in 35 mins, you’re fit enough for this tour.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
