About The Roaring Red Front
On the eve of FIFA's casino capitalist charade, we enter a world of the stories of real fans and comradeship.
Authors Stewart McGill and Vince Raisin talk to broadcaster and sports journalist Graham Spiers about the world’s top Left-Wing and Antifascist football clubs and the supporters that shape their politics and attitudes. With music by Paul & Chris from The Wakes.
Many of these clubs - such as Celtic, Liverpool, St Pauli, Olympique de Marseille, Bohemians Praha, AEK Athens - have had their stories told, but never have they been collected together in one volume covering the passion, the fellowship, and the humanity - sometimes laced with violent intent - of people who dream not just of a better world but also of a last-minute winner. And a good row with the fascists.
The book, including signed copies, will be available on the night at a discounted price of £10.00 (normally £12.99).
