By rolling ink onto acetate you will try out different mark-making tools and approaches, creating spontaneous prints which focus on gestural and textural marks. You will also have the opportunity to create experimental prints using screens and paper stencils. You will leave the workshop with a series of unique, one-off (‘mono’) prints on textiles.
What experience do I need?
As you are working with a specialised process basic knowledge of the screen printing process is preferable.
Equipment Provided:
Equipment and materials such as screens, mark making tools, acetates, paper, pens, cutting mats and knives are all included. You will be provided with material to sample on but you are welcome to bring additional pieces.
