Ahead of the snowy season we’re hosting a series of workshops at our woodworking space at The Deep End to build your own toboggan!
Last year the plastic waste from the sledges in Queen’s Park really broke our hearts so this year we’re offering a creative alternative with our new facilitator Anna who will be hosting a series of 4 hour toboggan building workshops using waste wood and recycled plastics from last year’s sledge collection!
Not only will you be able to build your own toboggan from scratch you’ll learn some basic woodworking skills that can help you in future projects!
Adults are welcome to bring one child age 10+ along with them for the workshop, which we must be notified of prior to the session.
Please note this event will be held in our woodworking space and include the use of power tools. Adult participants are responsible for the supervision of their children.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
