About MugLife Family Pre-loved Clothing Event
With tough times such as cost of living crisis and climate change we are doing our bit to enable you to come and have a fun morning that doesn't cost the earth. Shop both sustainably and cheaply.
We will have a clothes swapping/swishing section, so bring along some clothing that's in good condition, you no longer wear and swap for something else that catches your eye. Wardrobe refresh without the guilt.
We will have different categories within our swapping/swishing section:
Womenswear / Menswear / Maternity / Kidswear / Accessories (no socks or underwear please)
Only rule is, you can only take home the same number of pieces from the swapping section that you brought along.
You will also have the opportunity to buy vintage/pre-loved from some of our parent owned clothing businesses on the day. There are some amazing businesses such as Bon Tot of Edinburgh, Made By Fatax and Hope Town Vintage.
To help with how to style an outfit for the seasons ahead we will have womenswear and kidswear stylists on hand.
There will be an area to try clothing on, a make up artist, DJ and photographer to capture some fashion moments.
MugLife are supporting The Blankfaces charity where we will be collecting kids winter jackets for their appeal.
As usual at our meets you will get a coffee & cake/pastry included and there will be a small soft play and crafts area for the kids.
