About Jesters Comedy Open Mic
The next instalment of the fantastic FREE stand-up comedy open mic at Jimmy’s under Park bar will be on Thursday 25th May, and all are welcome to either watch or perform. Featuring a mix of seasoned pros trying out new material, first timers taking to the stage, and everyone in between, open mics are always fun, full of ups and downs and a sense that anything could happen.
Your host for this evening will be a rising star in Scottish comedy, the hilarious Daniel Petrie. He’s already in high demand across Scotland for his ability to seemingly make any sentence funny just by the way he says it. He was crowned 2023 Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year, and was a finalist in the 2022 So You Think You're Funny competition.

Just want to watch? All are welcome free of charge, but please respect the show: during performances please be seated and don’t talk or heckle.
Interested in performing? To sign up message Jesters Comedy Nights on Facebook from 12 noon one week before the show and 5 minute slots will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. Longer sets or hosting spots are by invitation only.
