About T-Shirt Monoprinting
Fresh and expressive! This workshop will explore mono printing – a responsive and gestural technique which allows the participants to experiment and develop pattern designs quickly and intuitively. Jemima will bring books, textile samples and inspiration from her studio. The workshop will start with some quick mark making and mono printing exercises on paper. Once have we developed motifs we will experiment with placement and pattern design working directly onto fabric before printing our garments.
This workshop has been developed with creative reuse in mind – please bring old clothes to print your designs onto (cotton & light coloured materials work best – the fabric ink can be cured at home with an iron)
For 12 - 16 Year Olds.
