We are talking whisky tastings from legendary distilleries and tales from a few of Scotland’s authors, adventurers and artists.
Sunday 29th January: Highland Park & Stuart Cosgrove
7pm - 10pm / £60pp
Featuring the legendary Orcadian malt's 12, 15 and 18 year old expressions, this tasting is accompanied by a chat from a chap who, some might say, is equally as legendary in the broadcasting and music world.
Expect an evening of wit sharper than an Orkney wind, football and music yarns and of course, some fantastic whisky.
Tuesday 31st January: Laphroaig & Mollie Hughes
7.30pm - 9pm / £45pp
A malt for the adventurous meets an adventurous spirit. Mollie Hughes has scaled Everest, kayaked the world over and is the youngest woman to ski solo to the South Pole.
Featuring a tutored tasting of Laphroaig 10YO, 10YO Sherry Cask and Lore along with a talk from Molly about her adventures, this promises to be an evening of strong peat and wild places.
Thursday 2nd February: Auchentoshan & Phil Miller
7.30pm - 9.30pm / £55pp
The gritty character of tartan noir, paired with the noticeably smoother, triple distilled character of Auchentoshan.
Phil Miller is an award winning journalist and crime writer, much lauded by fans of Ian Rankin and known for his stylish crime stories, set in the capital city.
Join us for a unique evening with Phil and a tutored tasting of 3 finishes of Glasgow's very own urban thriller - Auchentoshan single malt.
Tuesday 7th February: The Macallan & Pip Hills
7pm - 10pm / £75pp
The story of two 18th century geniuses.
Around the time the Macallan was first being distilled, Robert Stirling was working on an invention so far ahead of it's time, scientists only recently began to understand how its technology could be applied. Think NASA colonies on Mars and climate change saving, energy sources.
Join Pip Hills for a three dram tasting of this Speyside legend and a dip into this fascinating story.
Thursday 9th February: Bowmore & Frank Quitely
7pm - 10pm / £75pp
Frank Quitely is somewhat of a legend in the world of comic books. Likewise, Bowmore a legend in the world of Islay Malts.
This evening will bring together the art and story telling, of the Glasgow boy turned DC comics artist with the heritage and craft of Islay's oldest distillery.
Frank will be talking about his work from illustrating Superman to The X-men, along with a tutored tasting of three expressions of Bowmore - definitely one not to be missed.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
