Upcycling furniture can be a messy job so why don’t you do it in our workshop rather than your home?
Hosted at our woodwork and upcycling hub at The Deep End, this 2 session class will give you access to our workshop and its tools to work on an upcycling project of your choice – getting practical advice from our Woodwork Facilitator – Anna. Over the two 2-hour sessions, you’ll learn how to strip an old finish, fill holes, then paint or stain and add any new hinges or door knobs that you bring, learning DIY and basic hand tool skills along the way in the safe environment of our workshop.
What you will learn:
Session One 22nd April 12 – 4PM : Demonstration of tools and materials, stripping old finishes, sanding back.
Session Two 29th April 12 – 4PM : Repairing broken or unsecure sections. Adding the fresh finish and new fixings.
