Red Bull Dance Your Style, the biggest street dance battle event in the world, is returning to the UK, and this year it’s back bigger than ever with four regional Qualifiers and a groundbreaking three-day final event in London.
The international mixed-style competition, celebrates the variety of dance talent across the UK and a dancer's ability to connect communities. The unique competition also looks to unify dancers and spectators alike through 16 rounds of freestyle dance which showcase any style from Hip Hop to House, Afro Dance, Locking, Voguing, Krumping and more.
The open qualifiers will be kicking off in Manchester on 10th March at iconic music venue New Century, calling all Mancunian hopefuls for their place in the grand final. Next stop on the tour is in Glasgow on 25th March at nightclub-turned-audition-space Platform, and Birmingham’s SVN on 1st April, before heading to the UK’s capital for the final round of auditions.
Dancers from each qualifier location are invited to register for Red Bull Dance Your Style HERE and select which city they will be signing up for.
All successful entrants will make it to the final showdown in London on Sunday 21st May, with the finalists then battling it out in an electric crescendo for their chance to compete at the world final in Frankfurt, Germany, later this year.
Creating hype and excitement around Red Bull Dance Your Style, London will see a plethora of events popping up, leading to the UK Final including a Dance booth popup on Saturday 29th April at Red Bull London. Red Bull will debut a new afrodance competition, Bring The Vim, at the Red Bull Dance Your Style weekender in London. The ultimate Afrodance battle, showcasing a range of dance styles from Amapiano to Afro House through to Naija Street Style.
To keep the energy high throughout the Red Bull Dance Your Style competition, Red Bull will be bringing along the UK’s hottest DJs, incredible live acts and dance performances who will all be spinning and dancing to the best sounds from all genres, including afrobeats, dancehall, rap, pop and more.
