Join Dr Kathryn Smith, Child Clinical Psychologist at The Wellbeing Rooms in Bearsden for a six session Parent Skills Workshop.
About Parent Skills Workshop
A 6 session workshop run by Dr Kathryn Smith, Child Clinical Psychologist, which teaches parents skills in responding to their children's big emotions so they develop positive well-being, engaging their cooperation, using discipline rather than punishment and giving praise that boosts self esteem.
Parents who have done this group have said: "This course has made me think about my parenting a great idea. It has changed my views in several ways"; "Enjoyable course that has made me stop and think" and; "this is fundamental information for every parent".
Each session is 2hours and you get access to videos and worksheet. Dr Smith has run this course several times, and seen how much it has improved parents relationships with their children.
