Tracking Loach by David Archibald to launch at Glasgow in-conversation event with Ken Loach on 30 March
Glasgow-based academic David Archibald has been ‘tracking Ken Loach’ for over three decades, as film viewer, critic and academic. He was granted unprecedented access to observe one of world cinema’s most celebrated and controversial filmmakers, while Loach was making his prizewinning Glasgow-set 2012 feature The Angels Share.
At a special event on March 30 in Glasgow, Loach and Archibald will celebrate the launch of Archibald’s book Tracking Loach with a conversation that promises to range over the director’s celebrated working methods and his film-related political activity. Loach (86) will be joining by Zoom.
