CALM Open Mic Night
KRACK are hosting an Open Mic Night at Slay Glasgow on Thursday 13th April with monies raised going towards CALM.
About CALM Open Mic Night
As part of our Master's degree in International Tourism and Event Management, we have been tasked with hosting a live event. We have decided to host an open mic night at Slay, Glasgow, as a fundraiser for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), which aims to take a stand against suicide. We chose this charity because a few members of our group have lost people due to suicide in recent years. CALM aims to change the conversation on mental health and suicide by working towards changing the devastating statistic that 125 people a week take their own life in the UK.
We hope that we can raise as much money as possible to show our support. As well as our open mic performances, we will have a live DJ, buffet and raffle. Come along and enjoy our open mic night and support a great charity for just £5!
