About Glasgow Viol Consort at WestFest
The Glasgow Viol Consort is a society of mixed ability viol players which formed in 2014.Our aims are to introduce the viol to a wider audience while encouraging new and existing members to explore the wealth of music composed for consorts of viols. Our members range from advanced adult players to school age pupils.
We will also be performing other works by various composers for 4-6 viols so come along for a relaxing afternoon concert and hear some very beautiful but rarely performed music.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
