Come along to this fun and informal workshop with the Braw Wee Emporium Team where we’ll take you through the steps to make your very own very own boozy bottle lamp with a 25cm drum lampshade.
Just need to bring your own fabric (and bottle if you chose that option) and we’ll provide the rest including some refreshments.
Your covering needs to be 970mm wide x 255mm to cover the self-adhesive panel supplied. We recommend that you don't bring along too heavy a weight fabric for your first lampshade, not stretchy cotton is perfect for beginners!
We can recommend getting your fabric from our neighbours at Fabric Bazaar or Mandor’s in the City Centre.
You’ll also have the opportunity to buy your own lampshade making kits to use at home after the workshop too.
Our studio is 2nd Floor, 249 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 4QE. Please note there are four steps down to reach our lifts that take you to our studio. We are working on bringing our workshops to more accessible venues.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
