Creative Arts Charity The Spit it Out Project is very excited to be putting on their 3rd Spit it Out Festival this June! Their inclusive programme for the community by the community will bring 5 Performance nights, 3 exhibitions, 31 Workshops, 2 community lunches, Screenings, a mini sports day and a bunch of other fun activities and events over ten days in 14 venues across Edinburgh, Online and Glasgow.
Spit it Out is an award-winning, grassroots, Scottish based organisation dedicated to opening conversations around consent, mental health, and healing through creativity and community care. We collaborate with our community in delivering pay-as-you-can activities and resources for us to learn together and create a lasting change in our community through an intersectional Transformative Justice lens. We focus on creating opportunities and reducing barriers for under-represented groups and offer trauma-informed spaces, where marginalised groups can share their work and everybody is welcome. These events are important in supporting our audience to come together, celebrate who they are, and start conversations about topics that are important to them through art and creativity.
