These workshops are delivered in a relaxed and family-friendly way. We have worked collaboratively with NCT Glasgow Volunteers to ensure the sessions are interesting, relevant and presented in an easy to understand format for parents and carers.
There will be 2 workshops on the day at different times, so if you can't make the first one, don't worry, because all the same topics will be covered in the other workshop later. Please only attend one to allow an opportunity for others to join.
The first workshop will be held from 10am to midday. The second workshop will be held from 1pm to 3pm. There is no need to specify to us which workshop you will be attending.
Each workshop is broken down into 4 overarching topics:
- First Aid for Injuries
- First Aid for Illness' and Medical Conditions
- Emergency First Aid
- Reducing Risk of Injury
You will be provided with first aid advice, opportunities to practice first aid skills, and to ask all the first aid related questions you may have.
To sign up, please follow our website URL link which will take you to the ticket page.
As part of our charitable offering, tickets to this event are being offered by donation (with no minimum). If you require a free ticket please don't hesitate to contact community@firstaid.org.uk and we will arrange this for you, with no issue at all! Any donation you are able to give allows us to continue to offer these sessions to communities throughout Scotland!
*Please note: this is a non-certificated first aid workshop, meaning that participation is for your personal development only. No certification will be provided for attending.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
