About Screen Printing: Up-cycle Your T-shirts And Textiles
Monday 3rd and Wednesday 5th July 6.30- 8.30pm
Ages 10+ welcome
Screen monotype and stencils with Glasgow Artist Jemima Dansey-Wright
The use of monotype and stencil will help you to work in a free and abstract way, to create motifs and explore pattern. You will be printing with textile inks onto your old garments and other textiles (whatever you choose, as long as it's at least 50% cotton) and will leave the course with a load of 'new' stuff, but you will also have developed a range of expressive prints that will help inform other work, including decorating pots.
