Located on the redeveloped site of the Western Infirmary and recently celebrating its 1st birthday, you’ll start your journey in our impressive atrium with views up to three floors of state-of-the-art research space. We’ll then ascend to the upper floors, with amazing views of the University of Glasgow and the West End. Along the way, you’ll meet some of our 550 researchers, from physicists to philosophers, chemists to historians, engineers to social scientists. They’ll share their enthusiasm for contributing to new ideas and tackling today’s big challenges.
Limited spaces available so please ensure to book at the link above!
The tours are part of EXPLORATHON, Scotland’s annual public festival aimed at making research real. Visitors are welcome to explore the other activities happening in the ARC over the Doors Open weekend and the following weekend (22 – 23 Sept), all of which are free and many of which are drop-in.
This workshop is part of the Explorathon festival, funded by the UKRI Horizon Europe Guarantee Fund (Ref: EP/X020762/1).
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
