Join Auchentoshan® to celebrate its 200th Birthday with a festival and one free cocktail on arrival featuring up-and-coming Glasgow musicians and artists, and the launch of a 25 Year Old Auchentoshan Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
As well as the new Cocktail Menu, Auchentoshan’s range of triple distilled, extra smooth single malts will be served up neat, long, mixed and on the rocks, creating the modern Auchentoshan moment and social experience with live funk and jazz sounds from local musicians.
This over-18s only event will be set outdoors in the grounds of Auchentoshan’s historic distillery in Clydebank. The celebration takes place across a stage, three tents, two bars plus food on offer, and will feature premium whisky cocktails and drams, food trucks, and live music from fresh Glasgow talents kitti, Federation of the Disco Pimp, and Rebecca Vasmant DJ and Ensemble.
Auchentoshan, Gaelic for ‘corner of the field’, has been making its distinctive triple-distilled Lowland whisky in Glasgow since 1823. Making its debut at the festival celebration is a new 25 Year Old bottle of Auchentoshan for the 200th Anniversary, with packaging designed by Glasgow mural artist BOIIING. Auchentoshan has also commissioned BOIIING, aka Lewi Quinn, to create a colourful installation on the exterior of the distillery during the event to mark its 200th birthday year, which guests will be able to enjoy when visiting the shop, visitor centre, and tours throughout the year.
On arrival through the gates of Auchentoshan’s 200-year-old entrance, ticket holders will receive a complimentary whisky cocktail and walk past the fields, gardens, bonded warehouses, and buildings containing the three copper stills to the event site outdoors on the grass, nestled down below the water and dam.
For two centuries, the city has inspired its unique combination of traditional craft and progressive thinking, a unique combination which has made Auchentoshan renowned around the world. Auchentoshan’s 200th Birthday Festival will joyfully celebrate the spirit of Glasgow and raise a glass to an even brighter future.
