Come fly, hang out and flip out at the circus at our half term camp! It’s chock full of aerial, acrobatic and other circus activities including our most popular one of all – flying trapeze!
Never done anything like it before? No problem. Our enthusiastic, experienced and encouraging coaches will be with you every step of the way. Everyone is capable of achieving some cool aerial and acrobatic moves, step by step.
All day, every day, you can enjoy a choice of trapeze, silks, hoop, acrobatics, group acrobalance, trampoline, parkour, juggling, tightwire, object manipulation such as juggling and hula hooping.
It all begins at whatever stage YOU are at. Circus is about creative challenges, and the possibilities are endless for adapting our teaching to everyone’s level. It’s all about collaboration rather than competition.
If you're already agile and strong, our coaches will make sure you find all sorts of new ways to challenge yourself using the circus equipment. If you enjoy dancing, gymnastics, acrobatics, parkour or trampoline, circus activities will actually develop those skills further, while you learn new arts – and you may find the freedom and creativity circus exhilarating.
If you’ve never done anything like this before, the supportive instructors will help you to find out what you love. You’ll be amazed what you can do in just one lesson.
You can see videos of Youth Circus fun at www.aerialedge.co.uk and learn more in our blog about how circus and our teaching ethos is unparalleled among physical activities for developing the whole person. Specific areas including concentration, coordination, problem solving are being enhanced all the time.
Everything at Aerial Edge is learning through having fun, and anyone can do it, regardless of age, experience, body type or other factors. If you think you’ll need some assistance, just drop a note to info@aerialedge.co.uk outlining your situation.
You can book specific days at £60 each or save £30 by coming for all three days at £150. Parents can watch from the reception coffee area, or drop and go.
***If you enjoy this, you will love Youth Circus classes (ages 7-18) which run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays, with a class for ages 1-7 on Fridays. And you can perform in the end-of-term show if you want!
There are also all-day circus camps at Easter (April 7-11) and summer (July 14-18 and August 4-8).
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
