Glasgow Life are delighted to be able to connect with the SLIC Climate Engagement Fund ‘Shelf Life’ programme, offering a series of practical and inspiring climate focused events for school, family and adult audiences in libraries across Glasgow in March.
Join Scottish writer and presenter Helen Cross at Langside Library for a feast of family fun exploring gardening and cooking with children. Dig into this hands on interactive session and find out how growing our own food can help our planet!
Helen will share some of her green fingered magic and ideas from her debut book, Grow, Cook, Inspire: Growing and cooking for a healthier mind and planet - whether you are four or 94.
There will be a seed sowing workshop and an opportunity to create your very own mini greenhouse to take home. Let your imaginations go wild and design your very own garden and vegetable plot mood board.
Suitable for families: children between 4 and 11 with parent / carer.
To book your free place please email: ayewrite@glasgowlife.org.uk or phone Langside Library: 0141 276 0777
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
