Is iNTER a full or part-time academy?
iNTER Performing Arts is a part-time performing arts academy where tuition takes place outside regular school and college hours. iNTER is the perfect add-on for exceptional young talent. School takes care of the necessary learning for everything else and at iNTER, students enjoy thriving and learning in the most creative and exciting way within the performing arts.

Train in state-of-the-art facilities; unique, purpose-designed studios equipped to foster creativity and innovation.

Discover the process and be part of our ongoing success with our 100% success rate in all performing arts exams on advanced programmes. Sitting exams is optional.
Enjoy tailored processes for you to explore opportunities for progression into top colleges, universities and conservatoires around the country and abroad, as well as work towards a career in the industry with access to our very successful casting agency.
Get chances to perform in annual full-scale Summer Musicals and Christmas Productions, as well as smaller-scale productions, showcasing our talent to audiences throughout the year that include professional industry guests. Throughout 2023/24, iNTER showcased 14 productions.
Get chances of positive industry exposure through participation in high-profile events and engagements.
Audition Information
Audition Eligibility: New students aged 4-18 | beginner to advanced levels
Start date, if successful:
Attend the Big Audition Day for a chance to showcase your talent and secure placement from 24 August 2024 onward
Audition Day Booking Fee:
£10.00
The Big Audition Day Booking Fee is fully refundable if accepted and enroled into an iNTER Performing Arts programme.
Accompaniment:
Applicants below age 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Each auditionee should purchase one ticket each. Only auditionees require tickets; the accompanying adults do not need to purchase tickets.
Parent/Guardian Facilities:
Parents and guardians are welcome to wait in the fabulous iNTER Reception area, where they can enjoy complimentary soft drinks, tea, coffee, and biscuits while their child auditions. There are comfortable seating areas with facilities to charge mobile phones, laptops, etc.
Can't make the Big Audition Day?
Contact us to arrange a Private Audition at a time that is convenient for you. If successful, depending on the time of year you audition, you will be offered a placement for our next intake dates.

NB: iNTER Performing Arts Scotland and its charity, UK Theatre School SCIO, are one and the same, working to help disadvantaged, talented young people get involved in performing arts. Fees go towards young people's training and progression into further education within performing arts. If you feel your child is talented but would require help with fees, please get in touch, and we can provide a means test application form for help with fees.
