Edinburgh vs Glasgow: A Comedy Showdown

On Thursday 2nd May Craicfriars Comedy sets out to answer a question at Blackfriars of Bell St: which comedy scene is funnier, Edinburgh or Glasgow? You the audience decide!

Edinburgh vs Glasgow: A Comedy Showdown

About Edinburgh vs Glasgow: A Comedy Showdown

Representing Edinburgh, we have the very funny Cobin Millage, Ayo Adenekan and Dan McKenna; facing off against them is a formidable team of Glasgow’s finest: Daniel Petrie, Maria McAveety and John Carruthers. Adjudicating will be our neutral host from Stirling, the award-nominated Iain Hume.

Iain Hume is a two-time Scottish Comedian of the Year finalist and comedy circuit legend. Other awards include winning both the Rotunda Gong Show and the nationally famous Frog & Bucket Beat The Frog contest. He was chosen to open for Ed Byrne at Strathaven Comedy Club.
“Completely honest, funny, original and wickedly wonderful” – Janey Godley
“Completely unforced, charismatic, grabbing your attention from the very first minute.” – Gary Meikle

Entry is from £5, presales can be found on Eventbrite. Terms and conditions apply: edvsgla.eventbrite.co.uk
