Are you ready to take on a challenge that will leave you awestruck? Then look no further than the Arrochar Alps Challenge – Saturday 24th August. This challenge is being run by charity Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS).
This one-day adventure will take you through some of the most breath-taking natural beauty Scotland has to offer. You’ll be led by an experienced team of mountaineers, who will guide you through the summits of Ben Narnian, Ben Ime, and the Cobbler.
This challenge is perfect for those new to the walking scene, as well as experienced hill walkers. The CHSS team will be with you every step of the way, from supporting you with your fundraising and training, to being onsite to ensure you have the best experience possible.
YOU CAN CHOOSE BETWEEN TAKING ON 1, 2 OR 3 PEAKS. WHICH CHALLENGE WILL YOU CONQUER?
3 PEAKS
The amazing 3 Peaks will take in Ben Narnain, Ben Ime, and The Cobbler. It will cover 11 miles with a total of 6,250 feet gained.
2 PEAKS
The 2 Peaks option will include both Ben Narnain and The Cobbler. This is still a challenging option for those with a good level of fitness and a good level of experience of hill walking. This takes in 8 miles of walking with a total of 4,330 feet gained.
1 PEAK
Conquer The Cobbler, one of the most famous, and iconic hills in Scotland! We will use the main path to both reach the top and then return. With no rocky sections this is a relatively straightforward and safe option for those without as much experience of hill walking. The 1 peak route involves 6 miles of walking on, at times, rough terrain with 2,919 feet gained so a good level of fitness is required.
TAKE ON THIS CHALLENGE AND YOU’LL BE HELPING PEOPLE ACROSS SCOTLAND DO MORE THAN SURVIVE – YOU’LL HELP THEM REALLY LIVE.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
