A Fairie Tale is a new and original piece of storytelling exploring queerness, Scottish race and gender identities through a medieval-inspired landscape.
About A Fairie Tale
Critically acclaimed storyteller Niall Moorjani (Mohan: A Partition Story) queers the folk classic Thomas the Rhymer in an evening of strangeness, sexy fairies and swearing.
Set to live cello music from Diana Redgrave, this is storytelling at its experimental best.
Originally commissioned for the Scottish International Storytelling Festival 2022. ‘Storytelling genius’ (Scotsman) ★★★★★(Skinny) Lyn Gardner’s VAULT Festival 2023 Picks.
