Do you fancy learning how to speak a new language? Improving your linguistic skills whilst expanding on your cultural knowledge and widening your horizons? Visit us at City of Glasgow College, and meet our lovely and energised Language team for a wee' Joie de vivre' experience!
Our 15 - 20 minute Language Tasters are designed to give you an experience of the language during a friendly session in our lovely language classrooms. We will start with the first basic words and how to initiate basic communication using the lingo. There will be a taster for each of the 4 languages, as well as a 10 minute presentation on the benefits of learning a foreign language and what it means for an English native speaker.
Here's why you should learn with us:
- An opportunity to dive into the vibrant culture of France and Spain, including art, cuisine, and music
- Expanding your horizons, whether you’re planning a trip to French or Spanish speaking regions, knowing the language will enhance your travel experiences and open doors to new opportunities
- Boost your brainpower, studies show that learning a new language can improve cognitive function, enhance memory, and sharpen problem-solving skills, keeping your mind active and engaged
- We provide a fully supportive community, learn at your own pace in a welcoming environment with fellow enthusiasts
