Opened in 1878, Maryhill Burgh Halls became the centre of the local Burgh being the seat of the local magistrates and officials, as well as the home to both the police and fire station.
Throughout the years, the community had inhabited this place with dances and events and, since 2012, Maryhill Burgh Halls Trust made it its mission to care for this fantastic piece of local heritage for everyone to enjoy. The Halls are more than just bricks and mortar - they are a source of identity, pride and belonging and rich in history of the area.
Join our volunteers in the next few weeks as they show you around this living and breathing piece of history that is the Burgh Halls.
Tours will run twice a day at 11am and 2pm.
