Sareethon

After the success of last year's event, Glasgow Indians & Manjulika Singh in association with Glasgow Life is celebrating this ultimate feminine garment - as part of South Asian Heritage month!

Sareethon

About Sareethon

This year the Glasgow Indians and Manjulika ji groups will come together to host a Sareethon, starting at Kelvin Hall and walking to Riverside Museum where there will be a flashmob dance.

All are welcome to come along and join in. The event will begin at Kelvin Hall at 12pm.

The event will showcase weaves and drapes of India in the one garment which, despite being centuries old, is still loved by everyone from the modern women to our grandmas.
