ART OF ANDALUCIA is a captivating celebration of Daniel Martinez's exceptional artistry in the world of flamenco. This unique concert offers a full immersion into the essence of flamenco, featuring a carefully curated selection of Daniel's most celebrated works from his discography, including his award-winning production Art of Believing and his latest masterpiece, Andalucia. Additionally, the concert will provide an exclusive sneak peek into his eagerly awaited third album, offering the audience an exclusive first listen to some of his new music.
ART OF ANDALUCIA is not just a music concert; it's an homage to the rich tradition of flamenco dance. Daniel Martinez strives to achieve a harmonious balance between music and dance, elevating the latter to a starring role in the show. To realise this vision, the concert will showcase two extraordinary dancers whose artistry and passion are set to ignite the stage, taking the audience on a sensory journey through the heart of Andalucia. Daniel will compose and create original music specifically for each dancer's choreography, which will be uniquely choreographed exclusively for this production and can only be seen on this tour. This meticulous alignment of music and movement ensures a seamless and immersive experience, celebrating the profound connection between flamenco music and dance.
One of the dancers, the world-renowned Angel Reyes, will grace the stage with his extraordinary talent. Angel, a member of Manuel Liñan's company, has also distinguished himself for many years as the second dancer in Jesus Carmona's company. Globally celebrated for his impeccable technique and fiery passion, his performances are mesmerising, leaving the audience spellbound and deeply moved. His presence in ART OF ANDALUCIA elevates the concert to an unmissable cultural event, bringing a unique and electrifying energy.
Joining Angel is the fantastic Gabriela Pouso, the exceptional dancer for the Daniel Martinez Flamenco Company. Since its beginnings, Gabriela has been an integral part of the company, performing on the biggest and most important stages across the UK. She was instrumental in the company's success when they won the prestigious Herald Angel Award, captivating the more than 60,000 people who have attended their concerts since 2017. Her performances blend elegance, grace, and intensity, enthralling audiences with every movement.
The experience is completed by the presence of their stunning singers and palmeros Inma Montero and Danielo Olivera, who bring pure soul and heart to flamenco, along with percussionist Julian Ticotico whose rhythm will be the pulse of an unforgettable night. Additionally, there will be a total of eight musicians on stage, each contributing their mastery to create a symphony of sounds that will transport you to Andalucia. ART OF ANDALUCIA is not just a concert; it is a cultural encounter, a fusion of music and dance that aims to bring the magic of flamenco beyond the borders of Spain, directly to the heart of the United Kingdom. Prepare to be part of a night where passion, art, and tradition intertwine to create something truly extraordinary.
