About Mini Retreat: Lughnasadh - An Afternoon Of Late Summer Mindfulness
Lughnasadh is a Gaelic festival which traditionally hails the gathering of harvest. As the the crops ripen, we may feel the hiatus as nature turns to shift away from the seasons of growth, towards the decay of Autumn and the darker days of winter. We come upon a season of stillness and suspension. These languid moments of late summer provide an opportunity to gather ourselves in to our own centre, and rest for a moment.
Join Mindfulness teacher and researcher Lucy Trend for an afternoon to reflect on our achievements of the year so far, and contemplate what we may wish to gather in to nurture us through the shorter and colder days to come.
Some experience of Mindfulness is useful as we will settle deeply into the practices and reflections. Suggested cost £30 (or pay from the heart – according to your means, minimum £20 (choose deposit option when paying).
