Mike Nisbet, a seasoned and powerful solo artist, has embarked on a remarkable musical odyssey that spans over 17 years. Hailing from rain-soaked landscapes of Scotland's West coast, Nisbet's path has taken him from the raw energy of a teenage pop punk band to his current incarnation as a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and revered singer-songwriter.
Nisbet weaves together dark, rich narratives with a modern sensibility that resonates deeply in the 21st century. His vocal-led performances, accompanied by the haunting melodies of acoustic guitar and piano, evoke the heart-wrenching anguish of a Tom Waits barroom lament, while drawing inspiration from the likes of Damien Jurado, Tim Buckley, Justin Townes Earle, and Bill Callahan.
