From the shimmering sun of an Orcadian harbour to warm light flooding into a dark studio, Davy Brown seems to see the world more vividly than most. His soft abstraction and considered colours will be on show at ScotlandArt for our upcoming exhibition, Davy Brown: Escape Into Colour. Informed by a varied life, including youthful summers spent with the St. Ives group and a more recent brush with mortality, Brown's rich, layered vision makes this exhibition a must-see.
