Punch Needle Class with Rachael Bell Artist at Punts Pots - BYOB EVENING CLASS
Punch Needle is the art of threading wool through cloth to make decorative wool artworks such as mug rug coasters, wall hangings, carpets, and rugs etc.
Learn the art of punch needle and how to make your own colourful rug art in this punch needle class run by Glasgow Artist Rachael Bell. By the end of this class you will have your own punch needle artwork AND you will be able to keep your punch needle tools after the class to continue your punch needle journey!
You will learn how to make a punch needle rug from start to finish. You will learn how to set up your punch needle piece and how to do this on various frames in the future, how to use and adjust a punch needle and how to finish your piece off with fabric backing.
Punch Needle is for suitable for of all ages and is a stress free creative process. No previous experience or skill is required - anyone can make a punch needle artwork! Whether you need a therapeutic new hobby, you would like to learn a new skill or just have fun creating a piece of artwork - this class is for you!
