A mindful drawing artform, Zentangle can help you destress and ease anxiety through the process of drawing repetitive patterns that build to form beautiful works of art. Think doodles...but with intention.
It’s a non-representational art form, so there’s no pressure to create something “recognisable”.
Benefits of Zentangle can include...
Stress Reduction and Relaxation
Enhanced Concentration
Artistic Expression Without Pressure
Boosted Self-Esteem and Confidence
Improved Problem-Solving Skills
Don ‘t think you’re artistic enough? Can you hold a pen? Then you can do Zentangle.
Suitable for all ages. Please get in touch with any accessibility needs at info@southsidewellbeingfestival.co.uk

Who's Hosting?
Lisa is a Certified Zentangle Teacher a practice of drawing patterns, step by step, which is very relaxing and fantastic for your mental health and wellbeing. Lisa is the only Zentangle teacher in Glasgow, and one of fewer than 80 in the whole of the UK, this is a fantastic opportunity to be introduced to this wonderful artform. As Zentangle is non-representational, you’re not worried about the final outcome of the work but more on the process itself, which is very zen, hence the name. Join Lisa for this introductory session to this amazing practice...lets Zentangle!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
