Learn the art of stained glass making in this five week course based in Glasgow Southside. This course is ideal for beginners looking to explore a new medium and those who already have experience and would like to develop their practice in a relaxed, friendly, creative environment.
You will be guided through the foundational skills to create your own stained glass design using the copper foil and leaded techniques.
With a maximum limit of 4 people, you will receive personalised instruction and plenty of one-to-one advice, building your confidence while learning and exploring this craft. We will cover the process of cutting glass, working to a pattern, shaping the glass using a grinder, leading/soldering and finishing techniques.
Tuition, use of tools/equipment and basic glass materials are included. (There will also be an option of buying glass if you want specific colours/textures for your personal project).
