From 12noon until 2pm, you are invited to join us to paint pebbles with flags of the world or your own designs. This activity is part of our equinox celebration. You'll get to take your painted pebbles home, or we invite you to leave them throughout the park to form a wee community arts trail that symbolises our connections and reminds us locally of the community we are part of. Find out more about this during our event!
From 2pm-4pm, we will host the Unity Network who will teach you how to make paracord keyrings as part of our upcycling workshop series.
All materials will be provided and you will have instructors to guide you through the process. If we have any stones left after 2pm, you can still paint some pebbles in parallel to the keyring making.
Don't worry if you don't feel crafty on the day, the workshops are optional. You are still very welcome to come by to learn more about our unique community venue with seating made from pianos, have a chat, grab a cuppa and cake, and take a wander through the park.
This event is part of the Doors Open Days weekend. Follow our Instagram or Facebook to stay up-to-date. We hope to see you this weekend!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
