At this time of year, many insects enter a still dormant state for the winter season. Come along and craft your very own still insect (butterflies, beetles and alike) and give it a home for the winter.
Our instructor will guide you in using wire, paper scraps and beads to build your insect. Once dry, they will have a plastically feel and semi-transparent wings which allow the light to shine through them beautifully.
This free activity is tailored towards adults and young people above 8 years old.
Please dress warm as our venue can get a bit cold at this time of year. There will be hot and cold drinks, cakes and crisps for sale to support our community venue in covering our running costs and putting on future events for free.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
