The highly anticipated New World Season 2 dance series has announced Grammy-nominated and current UK dance chart No 1, Dom Dolla, will perform as part of its Season Two Second Wave artist announcement.
Renowned as one of the most electrifying producers in electronic music, Dom Dolla has captivated global audiences with his signature feel-good beats and dynamic performances. The Australian-born DJ and music producer has been dominating the global dance scene, working with songstress, Nelly Furtado and American DJ, John Summit as part of his meteoric rise. Dom will play an exclusive late night show for New World on Saturday, November 16th.
The unmissable event will take place at Platform, the iconic venue on Midland Street, which once housed one of the world’s most legendary nightclubs. New World Season Two promises fifteen unforgettable nights of dance music with each late-night show delivering an unparalleled club experience for thousands of Scotland’s dance lovers.
The announcement follows four sold-out shows featuring powerhouse acts such as SLAM, PRTY, Multunes, and Chris Stussy, affirming the overwhelming demand for this independent music series. The return of New World underscores Glasgow's insatiable appetite for electronic dance music, offering a fresh wave of talent, surprise special guests, established global DJs, and heritage acts that celebrate the city's rich dance culture.
Bigger, Bolder, and Unmissable: Running from October 4th to December 28th, New World Season 2 New World Season 2 steps up the game with an ambitious 2024 program. Each event will feature world-class sound, lighting, and immersive production offering an unparalleled club experience.
