When KAN were formed in December of 2009, Aidan O’Rourke, Brian Finnegan, Ian Stephenson and Jim Goodwin were already known improvisers and innovators. They had previously collaborated, either in the studio or in a live setting and their mutual respect and nuanced perspective on performing and composing fostered a space where new ideas and new sound flourished; KAN became a canvas for their inventiveness.

Sleeper was released in 2012 and by then they had evolved into an irrepressible live act with a loyal and quickly growing fan base. Ten years fallow, their return to the fold is a thrilling proposition, weaving new narratives and life experiences into the groundbreaking Sleeper.

Support comes from Caamaño&Ameixeiras, a Galician duo linked to roots music and dance. Sabela Caamaño (Chromatic Accordion) and Antía Ameixeiras (Violin, Vocals) joined forces in 2018, and the pair have enjoyed an intense trajectory ever since, thanks to their personal and lively compositions.
