● Kyle Hood (Guitar, Vocals)
● Paul Conway Presents MIOGA (DJ)
The Rachel Duns Quintet formed in 2021 for their debut concert at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh. Since then they have amassed an albums worth of Duns' original compositions (which they are excited to record in the near future) pulling together influences from jazz, neo-soul, hip-hop, and blues-rock.
Duns' ethereal vocals and virtuoso tenor saxophone/flute playing is backed by a dynamic rhythm section consisting of Sean Morrison(keys), Chris Quinn(bass), Kenny Lyons(drums) and Kyle on guitar. The quintet has been a featured live act on BBC Scotland's 'Jazz at the Quay' sessions hosted by Seonaid Aitken and has performed at the Edinburgh and Glasgow jazz festivals.
