About Chand Ali Qawwal and Party
Join us for an evening of the sacred art form of Qawwali - an energetic musical performance of Sufi poetry that leads listeners to a state of euphoria.
Performed in Persian/Farsi and Urdu, this traditional music works its way to ecstatic peaks with a powerful vocal performance, rhythmic hand claps, and the use of traditional musical instruments like the harmonium, the dholak and tabla.
Their performances are known for their intense passion, profound spiritual depth, and the intricate interplay of vocals and rhythm.
Recommended for ages 12+
Running Time: 3 hours and 30 minutes approximately
