For those who roll their eyes at the most romantic day of the year, Off The Rails, Glasgow's late, late night shopping event returns to VEGA on Thursday 13th February to celebrate self gifting!
About Off The Rails - Late Late Night Shopping Spree
Shaking up the traditional romance of Valentine’s gifting, the top floor of YOTEL Glasgow will be transformed into a self-care space with the chance for shoppers to browse and buy treats for themselves from a line-up of pre-loved fashion traders, local designers and independent brands.
In true Off The Rails style, there will be a side of sparkling cocktails, delicious snacks and a live DJ and guests can literally shop for gifts for themselves until the beat drops with Scottish clothing brands including Peachy Threads and Dapper Alice as well as accessories from Zo Jewellery and Moo May Designs all attending.
For the lucky in love and the Valentine’s sceptics, guests can get their romantic forecast from Peachy by Tarot and you can make a lifelong commitment with a welded bracelet by Basil and Dandelion bracelet bar.
Glasgow fashion and lifestyle tastemakers as well as the infamous Crow Road branch of Cats Protection will bring the popular world of second-hand shopping to life. No plus one? No problem! VEGA’s neon-lit iconic top-floor bowling lanes will be set up for guests to team up and meet new people.
Neil Taylor, General Manager at YOTEL Glasgow, said: “January can be a slog for many and then Valentine’s Day comes along and it’s all about someone else. We wanted Off The Rails to bring a fresh take to how people shop for the occasion and host an event that’s all about buying yourself a treat.”
